Your doctor walks you through what the images show, answers your questions and plans the next step, from treatment to physical therapy in our building to a specialist booked for you.
Pacemakers and implants
Have a pacemaker? You can still get an MRI
Yes, we can do an MRI with a pacemaker or other implanted device, as long as we can confirm exactly which device you have. Just bring your device ID card, or tell us the make and model, and our team will check it and set up your scan safely before you come in.

What to expect on the day
Simple, painless and close to home.
Before the scan
Wear comfortable clothes without metal and leave jewelry at home. Tell us about any pacemaker, implant or metal in your body, and bring your device card.
During the scan
You lie still on a padded table while the scanner takes images. It is painless, and our technician talks you through it.
After the scan
You go about your day. Your doctor reviews the images and goes over the results with you.
